Meet Liz Lees, MS, RDN, CGN

Liz is an eating disorder dietitian and certified gastrointestinal nutritionist with over 10 years of clinical experience providing nutrition counseling and education at various levels of care including inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. She received her undergraduate dietetics degree from Arizona State University and went on to complete her masters of science in clinical nutrition from Rush University. Liz took an early interest in gastrointestinal disorders and specialized nutrition support before gaining experience working in the mental health field with a special focus on eating disorders/disordered eating behaviors. Now Liz loves to be able to bring those two passions together to support individuals with eating disorders/disordered eating behaviors suffering from bothersome digestive issues. Traditional GI “elimination diets” can be overwhelming, difficult and potentially harmful to follow and often times they do not even address the root cause of the digestive issues. Liz uses a compassionate approach with her clients; meeting you where you are and serving as your advocate throughout the recovery journey. She incorporates evidence based nutrition education into her sessions believing in the power of knowledge to bring about motivation for change.
